Balneário Camboriú makes sense from the water. The Praia Central and its wall of high-rises — one of the densest skylines in the southern hemisphere — sits behind you, the cable car crosses the hill above, and just around the southern headland the coast turns green and quiet, with small beaches that look nothing like the city centre.
We list motorboats, sailboats and larger boats here, with private charters and a skipper included on most of them. Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL), and payment terms are confirmed with each quote.
Pick a boat below and send us your date, group size and preferred route.
The usual format is a private charter of four to eight hours with a skipper included and the boat reserved for your group alone. You choose the departure time, and the skipper shapes the route around the sea and wind that day.
Departures are typically from Barra Sul, the mouth of the Camboriú river, where the city’s moorings are concentrated. The skyline comes into view almost immediately once you clear the channel — the shot most people are here for, and best in the late afternoon.
Past the southern headland the city gives way to something else entirely. The praias agrestes — Laranjeiras, Taquaras, Taquarinhas, Estaleiro and Estaleirinho — are small coves ringed by forest, with clearer water than the main beach. Several are awkward to reach by road, so arriving by sea is both easier and considerably faster.
Ilha das Cabras, just offshore, is another regular stop with decent snorkelling. Longer charters can run north toward Itajaí or south to Porto Belo and Ilha de Porto Belo.
High season runs from December to March, when the city’s population multiplies and the best dates go first — book ahead if you’re travelling in January or February. November, April and October usually combine good weather, quiet beaches and much better availability.
Charters depend on sea conditions. If the forecast turns, our team gets in touch to reschedule.
A skipper is included on most boats. Fuel, food, drinks and extra hours vary by boat and are confirmed with our team in each quote. Some boats offer overnight charters, with multi-day itineraries along the coast on request.
Navegue Temporada is a Brazilian boat rental platform, and we arrange everything directly with you over WhatsApp or email. Tell us the date, how many guests are coming and what you’d like from the day, and we’ll suggest the boats that fit.
There’s more along the same stretch of coast: see boat rental in Porto Belo, boat rental in Bombinhas, boat rental in Itajaí and boat rental in Florianópolis. The whole region is on boat rental in Santa Catarina, and the full national fleet on boat rental in Brazil. Chartering in Europe? Our sister company Portugal Boat covers Lisbon and the Algarve.
