The northern and western sides of the peninsula are the sheltered ones and carry most itineraries. Possible boarding points include the piers at Bombinhas and the marinas at Porto Belo, a few minutes around the bay.
Praia da Sepultura and Praia da Tainha are among the most photographed on the peninsula, both small and framed by rock. Praia do Ribeiro, Praia da Lagoinha and the Quatro Ilhas stretch are regular calls, with Praia de Bombas and Praia de Bombinhas anchoring the busier side of town.
