Yacht Rental in Brazil

Home / Boat Rental in Brazil / Yacht Rental in Brazil

Renting a yacht in Brazil is the most comfortable way to see a coastline of more than seven thousand kilometres: room to move, cabins, a proper head on board, and the option to stay out for the day or for several.

We list motor yachts in the country’s main boating destinations — Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande, Búzios, Paraty, Ilhabela, Florianópolis and Salvador among them. Every outing is private and a skipper is included. Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL), and payment terms are confirmed with each quote.

How yacht rentals work here

The usual format is a private outing of four to eight hours with a skipper included in the price. You pick the departure time; the skipper shapes the route around the sea and wind that day. The boat is yours alone — no other groups on board, and the pace is set by you.

Compared with a motorboat of similar length, a yacht gives you more seating areas, shade, a toilet on board and, in many cases, cabins, a galley and a sound system. It’s the type most often booked for celebrations, larger groups and full days on the water.

Where to rent a yacht in Brazil

In Rio de Janeiro, routes take in Guanabara Bay, Sugarloaf Mountain and the Cagarras Islands, with departures also from Niterói and Barra da Tijuca. Angra dos Reis and Ilha Grande form a sheltered bay scattered with hundreds of islands, including Lagoa Azul and Ilha da Gipóia. Búzios is beach-hopping — Azeda, João Fernandes, Ferradura — and Paraty is islands and mangrove inlets around Saco do Mamanguá.

Further south there are yachts in Ilhabela, Guarujá, Santos and São Sebastião on the São Paulo coast, and in Florianópolis, Balneário Camboriú and Porto Belo in Santa Catarina. In the northeast, Salvador opens onto Baía de Todos-os-Santos, the largest bay in the country.

Overnight and multi-day trips

Many yachts have cabins and allow guests to sleep on board, and from there multi-day island itineraries can be arranged on request. Overnight rates differ from day rates and depend on the date, the group and the route.

What’s included

A skipper comes with every motor yacht — they aren’t rented without crew. Fuel is included on day outings with a set itinerary in Rio de Janeiro and Niterói; elsewhere we confirm it before booking. Food, drinks, barbecue use, generators and extra hours vary by boat and are confirmed with our team in each quote.

When to go

The Brazilian high season runs from November to April, and New Year and Carnival dates book out far ahead. The shoulder months either side usually mean good weather with better availability and more flexible rates.

Yacht, sailboat or motorboat?

A yacht prioritises space and comfort. If you want speed and several stops in one day, motorboat rental in Brazil is the better match. For a slower day with the engine off, look at sailboat rental in Brazil, or at catamaran rental in Brazil, which pairs stability with a lot of deck space.

Booking your yacht

Navegue Temporada is a Brazilian boat rental platform, and we arrange everything directly with you over WhatsApp or email. Tell us the date, the destination and how many guests are coming, and we’ll suggest the yachts that fit — including which ones have cabins and take guests overnight.
