A speedboat is the quickest way out of the city and into the quiet stretch of coast just south of it. Ten minutes past the headland and the high-rises are behind you, replaced by small forest-backed coves that are awkward to reach any other way.
We list speedboats in Balneário Camboriú with private charters and a skipper included. Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL), and payment terms are confirmed with each quote.
Pick a boat below and send us your date, group size and preferred route.
The usual format is a private charter of four to eight hours with a skipper included and the boat reserved for your group alone. You choose the departure time, and the skipper shapes the route around the sea and wind that day.
Departures are typically from Barra Sul, the mouth of the Camboriú river, where the city’s moorings sit. The skyline comes into view as soon as you clear the channel — the view most guests come for, and best in the late afternoon.
South of the headland lie the praias agrestes — Laranjeiras, Taquaras, Taquarinhas, Estaleiro and Estaleirinho — small coves ringed by forest with clearer water than the main beach. A speedboat links three or four of them in an afternoon, which is the whole argument for taking one.
Ilha das Cabras, just offshore, is a regular snorkelling stop. With time and settled conditions, longer runs reach Porto Belo and Ilha de Porto Belo to the south, or Itajaí to the north. Shallow draft helps at the busier coves, where smaller boats anchor closer to the sand.
A skipper comes with the boat. Fuel, food, drinks and extra hours vary by boat and are confirmed with our team in each quote. All prices are starting prices and change with the date, the number of guests and the route.
High season runs from December to March, when the city fills and the best dates go first. November, April and October usually combine good weather, quiet coves and much better availability. Charters depend on sea conditions, and our team gets in touch to reschedule if the forecast turns.
Speedboats are built for speed and day trips, not for space or nights on board. If your group is large or you want room to spread out, see the full local fleet on boat rental in Balneário Camboriú, which covers sailboats and larger powered boats too.
Navegue Temporada is a Brazilian boat rental platform, and we arrange everything directly with you over WhatsApp or email. Tell us the date, how many guests are coming and what you’d like from the day, and we’ll suggest what fits.
There’s more along the same coast: boat rental in Porto Belo, boat rental in Bombinhas and boat rental in Florianópolis, with the whole region on boat rental in Santa Catarina. Chartering in Europe? Our sister company Portugal Boat covers Lisbon and the Algarve.
